The Big Science Guide welcomes writers to contribute to the guide. If you have good knowledge of science or maths then we would be delighted to publish your articles for you. We will acknowledge you as the author of the piece (unless otherwise requested). Furthermore we will allow you to include a link to your website or blog. 

Unfortunately at the moment we will not be able to pay writers for their articles yet – other than in the form of a link and acknowledgement. This is because the site is new and does not get a lot of traffic at the moment. However, when we are in the position to pay you we hope to do so.    

We've not even been paid a penny yet.

 Article Guidelines  

General Points 
  1.  The editors are to be considered omnipotent gods when it comes to article submission. In other words the editors decision is final.  
  2. Do not nick other peoples work - it's not nice. We will check. 
  3. We like to give contributes a link to their site. However, if your site sucks (affiliate marketing and co) or knows too much about the birds and the bees (porn) etc we cannot and will not link to you.   
  4. Please check the site to see that your article subject is not already published. 
  5. We don't do pseudo-science (creationism, alternative medicine etc). 
Style Points.

  1. Try not to be too boring. Serious science but jokes are encouraged - especially nerdy science ones. 
  2. Use block paragraphs (enter key between paragraphs)
  3. Footnotes are good. 
Images and Diagrams 
  • Please send images to thebigscienceguide@gmail.com with your article title in the subject line.
